Terms of Service

VoiceLine LS — Interpretation Platform · Last updated: July 3, 2026

1. Acceptance of these terms

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the VoiceLine LS Interpretation Platform (the “Service”) — a remote interpretation service providing over-the-phone (OPI) and video remote (VRI) interpreting, scheduled appointments, and related tooling. By creating an account, accepting an invitation, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization, and “you” refers to it.

2. The Service

The Service connects callers with professional interpreters on demand or by schedule, over audio and video. Availability of a given language, modality, or interpreter is not guaranteed. We may add, change, or remove features, and may suspend the Service for maintenance, security, or legal reasons.

3. Accounts and eligibility

You must provide accurate account information and keep your credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account, including activity by team members you invite and by applications using API keys issued to your organization. Notify us promptly at mzubair@voiceline-ls.com if you suspect unauthorized use. You must be at least 18 years old to hold an account.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • use the Service in violation of any law or the rights of others;
  • record, intercept, or attempt to capture interpretation sessions without all parties’ consent and a lawful basis;
  • harass, abuse, or discriminate against interpreters, operators, or other users;
  • probe, disrupt, or circumvent security or rate limits, or share API keys with third parties;
  • resell or white-label the Service without a written agreement with us.

5. Interpretation services

Interpreters provide language interpretation on a best-effort professional basis. Interpretation is not legal, medical, or financial advice, and interpreters do not act as advocates or advisors. For high-stakes settings you are responsible for confirming that the interpreter’s qualifications meet your regulatory requirements.

6. Fees and billing

Usage-based fees (typically per minute of connected interpretation, per your agreed rates) are calculated from call metadata recorded by the platform — connection times, duration, language, and service type. Invoices are due as stated on the invoice. Late or unpaid balances may result in suspension of the Service. Fees are exclusive of taxes, which you are responsible for where applicable.

7. Privacy

Our Privacy Policy describes what we collect and how we use it. In short: we process account data and call metadata to run the Service; we do not record the audio or video content of interpretation sessions.

8. Intellectual property

The Service, including its software, design, and documentation, is owned by VoiceLine LS or its licensors. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms. You retain all rights to the data you submit to the Service.

9. Confidentiality

Interpreters are bound to confidentiality regarding the content of sessions. Non-public information you receive about the Service (including API documentation and pricing) is confidential and may not be disclosed without our consent.

10. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, VoiceLine LS will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, or data. Our aggregate liability for claims arising out of the Service is limited to the amounts you paid to us for the Service in the twelve months preceding the claim.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or where required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive (including fees owed, confidentiality, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) survive termination.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified through the Service or by email, and the “Last updated” date above will change. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
